Dec 10, 2018 · December 11, 2018, 02:16:34 AM. NO! The Stop Start is not working because it has the WRONG battery fitted! It requires the correct AGM style battery to be fitted. Fit a fully charged battery of the correct type and the Stop-Start should start working again. On The Spot Alfa.

Jun 20, 2021 · This morning, after a drive of +/- 10 minutes, there suddenly appeared two warning signals at the same time, mentioning “Start Stop is unavailable” & “Check Engine”. I stopped the car and did some general checks and everything seemed ok. - the engine oil temperature was ok. - the engine oil level was ok.

Sep 26, 2023 · I don’t mind having S-S on the car; I could live without it but as it’s there I prefer it to work, if for no other reason than I get an annoying message in the dash telling me it’s not available which blocks out all the otter displays. Given the very long list of things that stop it working it’s still a surprise when it does work.

Oct 18, 2017 · The start stop on Giulietta is lousy engineered and doesn’t work in 90% of the Giuliettas. Wife had 3 new batteries installed on warrenty, from Exide to Varta expensive AGM’s and it works a week then no more.

Yesterday it was far warmer as in twice as warm and the system worked from only going 400yrds normally it it has to warm up. Today I know th temp was far colder but it would not work even

Jul 21, 2013 · Check Engine - Start/Stop Unavailable. So, I had this combination or errors as I set off for the gym this morning. Sadly it was still reporting the same on the way home. DNA is also unavailable, but the car seems to be running okay. Clearly, I'll need to have a word with the dealer but wondered if anyone had any ideas.

Nov 22, 2022 · Not sure if the straight red LED's on the right side will be in the rhs loom but it is a requirement that tail lights are fed from two separate circuits to try and ensure you have at least one side working in the event of a failure, so probably will have issues with both looms. I also have a strange issue with the rear wiper, works perfectly
Jul 31, 2015 · Its now mid summer and it still does not work 90% of the time. I have had the battery tested by 2 diagnostic experts and been told its fine and that the car is showing no errors. During its last visit to the dealer 2 weeks ago they charged the battery and told me the start stop was working perfectly as it was when I left the garage and drove home.
